When going offroad I normally just leave the centre diff unlocked, until I feel like I really need it. I remember reading somewhere in AWD mode it keeps about 30% of the power at the front and 70% at the rear, but it does fluctuate. Maybe someone else can confirm?

You've got the LSD rear instead of TC you lucky duck

Nothing like being able to take off from the lights in the wet and have the car behave

I agree, in 2wd my MQ qls on a full tank will say about 850km to empty, in 4wd onroad it drops instantly to about 750-800.

Seriously? In 2WD the trip computer thingy says 850km to empty and if you change to 4H it instantly alters that to 750-800? That is awesome. I had no idea it could do that. 8-)

BRB, have to go and tell Steane.....
Chris

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

That'll be programmed in by Mitsubishi to assist owners on their journey to believing selectable RWD is actually a worthwhile feature. Mitsubishi don't muck about when it comes to things like fuel economy
