Unknown symbols on dash

Does anyone know what the two symbols mean next to the multifunction display button? I have been through the entire owners manual and cant find any mention of them. One looks like maybe a couple of sheets of paper with some writing on it and the other looks like a spedometer with a light bulb on it. I have a photo of them but cant figure out how to upload it.

Speedometer with a light bulb on it >instrument cluster brightness adjustment.
A couple of sheets of paper > simply means you can cycle through different screens, eg distance to empty, trip A, etc.

Thanks flyeroz, That had me scratching my head also. Makes sense as they are passive symbols.
