Towing mirrors for triton

Postby Bigdog76 on Mon Jun 03, 2019 3:04 am

Just after recommendations for the best towing mirrors, without blowing big bucks on those fancy ones. Also how do people keep their mirrors from folding up every time a truck passes.
Thanks

hi there
what you pay is what get .I have purchased two types of cheap mirrors and in the bin they went . I bit the bullet and paid the price of 750 dollars for the mirrors they use on all for aventure I use them for towing my van and boat . and they are the bees knees . my brother bought a set from e bay and they seem all right same size as mine . but a lot cheaper half price as mine.and the quailty is not quite as good .

I have clearview towing mirrors on all my utes. No problem so far and the oldest ute has had them on it for nearly 5 years now. They are well made.

Has anyone tried the adventuretowing or bettaview mirrors from eBay? Also any advice on how to stop mirrors folding in when trucks pass, Triton mirrors suck for this!!

Clear view have held the market for 2 long, very shortly MSA will release there version which I like a lot not as big & don’t have the weird extra mirror at the bottom. They slide out but will roll outwards when you need them to.
