Caravan camera screen install

Hi all,

I have a 2019 MR Triton that I've just updated to from my good old MN.
I had a nice rear view camera set-up for my caravan, so that I could
see what was behind whilst we were driving.
It was simply a 7 inch monitor on an X-grip suction mount in the right
hand lower corner of the driver's side windscreen. The video cable I ran from a caravan
connection at the tow-bar, along the chassis and up through the grommet
the handbrake cable went through. Then through the centre consoles (I could easily remove them)and
then behind the dash, driver's side to where I had the monitor.

So, just wondering if any one has installed a rear view camera of any sort (in addition
to the centre screen - which I don't believe you can add another input to) and
where they may have routed the video cables? Access from the exterior to interior
with the new MR/MQ's seems to be quite tricky. I'm unaware of a grommet that
exists that gives you entry to the cab that would allow me to route my video cables
through. The only other way I guess would be to go right up to the engine bay and
then through that grommet to the right side of the fire wall.

Also, has anyone had experience in removing the instrument lower panel in front of the
driver's seat? I've found the Manual's diagram for it, but it looks like there are a plethora
of Clips, and claws. I know I have an Air bag in that area too, and that it remains, while
the two side panels come away. Just thinking it would be good to get these panels off, so
that I can see behind to route Monitor cables...

There is a very handy grommet under the drivers side rear passenger feet. You could lift side trims and route to there quite easily. Regarding the lower dash panel, there is a screw at the bottom and the rest is clips. Using plastic levers pop out one of the blank switches on the panel. Put your finger through the hole and pull straight out. Will come out easily. I will post pic of panel from manual later.
