Hi,
I'm trying to decide between a stock Pajero Sport or a stock Triton MR pickup. I won't ever tow anything or carry heavy loads, the only load that will ever be in the rear is 50-100kg total load in the back for my camping canopy. So the Triton's leaf springs will always feel very bouncy.
This is probably a very stupid question but do you think replacing the rear suspension in a Triton MR to coil springs (and possibly include changing the shocks?) is worth me looking into? I'd be willing to pay around $4K to have suspension more comfortable when on-road with just my 50-100kg rear load, since that will be my main use-case.
Cheers,
Shervin.
