Aftermarket rims - Do any American brands fit the MN Triton?

Hello All,

Just wondering if anyone knows if any Aftermarket American rims made for Chevy, Ford, Jeep, etc etc have the same stud pattern and offset etc to fit on a MN Triton?

Has anyone run anything like this before, I want to set up another set of rims and can order some in from the states as I have a shipping container coming in regularly. Come to think of it, what else should I order from there that would go nicely on the car??!!!!

Your chasing toyota FJ, and 4runner (I think from memory they are +30 offset- same as our Prado)
- though possibly others in the Toyota lineup.

The Hummer H3 runs +38 rims, They are the closest fitting American wheels

After that, it really depends on what offset and width you want (stance of your truck)

I have run zero offset rims with narrow tyres, but I would think you should do your own reading on what you are chasing- keeping in mind the factory offset is +38.

Our PCD is 6x139 (so there is a fair amount of choice out there)- but the mitsubishi centre bore is a lot smaller than the usual so do a search on hubcentric.

When I was shopping around for wheels several months ago, I contacted several tire / wheels stores in the U.S. via e-mails. Most didn't respond back, some responded back once just to ask "what is a Triton?" or to say they don't ship to Asia. Two shops wanted my business but couldn't guarantee fitment, but were pretty sure that the following should fit according to bolt pattern and factory offsets.
Enkei ETS 17x8" & 18x8"
Mamba M1 17x8"
Mamba M2 17x8"
Mamba M3 17x8"
Mamba M5 17x8"
XD wheels Hoss 16x8" & 17x9"
XD Wheels Spy 17x8"

From memory The Mamba wheels are +12 and the Enkei +20. Prices were all under USD $200 per wheel.

I brought my wheels from USA 24"x 10" 305 wide tyres +38 offset 139x6 works fine ,you can buy hub centric spacers cheap as in any size to suit. MN is the same as ML.....?

I'm running a set of American Racing rims.

It specs are as follows:
offset : 0 (matching Triton)
PCD: 6x139.6 (matching Triton)
CentreBore: 108mm (NOT matching Triton's 67.1mm)
Bolt Thread: 12x1.5mm (Matching Triton)

This set however is not hub-centric when on my hubs, however with 6 lug-centric bolts, there are holding the wheels well. The bolts for this set of rims are different from those that came stock on my Triton.

I will be getting hub-centric spigots to fill up the gap to make the wheels more stable.

Are you able to confirm the offset as 0 not +38 did you pick this to suit your tyres?

Yes, they are ET 0 as stamped on the rear of the rims and I did my own measure and they are indeed 0mm offset. Mount face is 4.5" from the inner lip.

The 8" width was choosen as my final tire size for this set of rims is going to be 275/70R16. Maximum size for HT in 16".

What is a the largest tyre that will fit on the standard 17" with no lift, that is no rubbing issues etc just a really nice but snug fit?

I am not worried about legalities etc, I have been searching on here but found more talk about what is legal etc, as these would be a mud set I am not overly concerned about that! Thanks

265/65/17 and 266/70/17 are the most common. Note legalities are different from state to state.
