The small one looks ok, the big one has seen better days haha. Still usable though.

Well after much stuffing around and several choice words when I found out the TEMPLATE IS WRONG (are you listening, Safari?) I have now finished with the hole saws and am ready to send on to the next sucker who wants to spend a day drilling holes in the side of their vehicle.

If I can give you all 1 tip, it is this: before you tape the template to your vehicle, actually screw the studs in to the snorkel body and lay the template over it. I gave it a quick look to make sure it was the right template, but seriously, put the studs in and do it. I had to use a die grinder to make a few of the holes longer - and they're already 16mm to start with...

So let me know if you want the hole-saws - I'm off to the Gulf next week for 3 weeks so would prefer to hand them on before that.

Hey kshep89 / Members

Just thought I would put it out there that I'm interested in jumping in line for a loan of the hole saws around the end of August. I'm heading overseas soon and wont be able to make use of them till then.
If you still have them in your possession then Kshep29 I'll send you a PM.

Cheers

Mat

Just to let you know, I have the hole saws now, after picking them up off Krazed today.
Watched and helped his friend install is snorkal.
Seems fairly straight forward and much more comfortable with doing my own now.
I will keep them for a bit as I am going to use them on my install with Froggymicb and others shortly. Keep an eye out for the Brisbane install thread, we are doing at least three on the same day.
The kit now contains, the hole saws plus the drill bit, a step drill, and paint for the holes. (Thanks to Krazed for the donation of the last two pieces)
I'll let you know once we are done with them.

Hey Bogor I've received the hole saw and parts today and all going to plan I will have them back in the post for froggy by tomorrow afternoon.
Always the way though, I had nothing to do then all of a sudden my prestige stainless bash plates turn up along with the hole saws.

I'll take a few happy snaps on completion

Snorkel installation is complete with a 24hour turn around on the hole saws, I managed to get them in the post this afternoon.

A special thanks to Bogor for the addition of the step drill, brush and paint. The step drill is awesome and its convinced me to go and purchase one.

I was disturbed by the amount of oil residue present in the intake ducting, between the turbo and airbox lid.
It has convinced me to purchase a catch can in the next day or so and not in the weeks I had originally planed. Just need to do some research on my CC options. From what I can gather, it's either "Pro Vent" or "other".

Will post some pics in the coming days

Guys the 92 mm is getting very blunt. I wouldn't use it again the way it went. Can they be sharpened or do we need a new one?
