Went back to pick up the replacement for the faulty TX3100 and they didnt have it in,so i spat the dummy a bit  and told them i was leaving on a trip tomorrow and needed to fit it today.
Anyway they came to the party and replaced it with a TX3340 with the controls on the handpiece ,considering i only paid $240.00 for the Tx3100 because it was a display model i well in front.Had to rethink the install as i could now hide the unit away :?: But this is the way i went.

Got the 2 consoles out and yes i broke the 2 bloody clips at the front even after reading up on a few tips in threads posted here,so a bit of aralditing before she went back together.Tapped into the Aux socket connection nice and easy :D

Decided to mount the unit under the rear console section and slotted in there nicely

Ran some slit conduit to house the coax, handset and external speaker wires

Front console back in

And this is all that is visible will run the speaker to a better position when i get time, the only thing that PMO was having to screw the handpiece clip to the dash as they are very heavy and the 3M tape wouldnt do the job  Click to view larger picture

Cheap and easy way of carrying 50lts of water
Purchased 2 X 25 lt drums from Aussies for $13.00 each and joined them with some NETA fittings and some no taste hose
Knocked up a box from offcuts i had behind the shed, this will protect the fittings, secure the drums and add some storage for my compressor and other odds and ends
Box fitted,no need for drilling, will be secured with a ratchet strap

All done :D

Hose naturally curls up under the tub, will secure with a suitable clip later on

Hose comes out and down next to the tail gate when needed
I put a nipple on the end as this is the filling point aswell ;)

To put it simply mate, ultimate ran out of blue springs for a while and started sending out the black ones which are their export i believe. Same thing different colour! I think brendan posted it up somewhere before ;)
Looks more stock when you return to mitsi for warranty issues

I thought the different colours were also different manufacturers - no biggie since they're all warranted and specced by ultimate. There were one or two early examples though of members who asked for black ones for stealth reasons - they got blue ones painted black... Note that there are also some aqua looking ones from yet another manufacturer which is what I ended up with on mine.
