Postby MORTON5000 on Fri Jan 25, 2013 10:22 am

Well finally after stuffing me round for 2 weeks now finally drove of the car yard yesterday with my 2012 triton, GLX, manual, 4x4.
Extras are
-steel tray "dura trays capalaba"
-towbar "Hayman Reece"
-neoprene seat covers
-electronic rust protection
-paint protection
-window tinting

Total price of 38000 after trade
My first mods will be
-HID upgrade for headlights ($125)
-dual battery system
-ironman protecta winch bar

Hoping for all that to happen within the next couple months

You'd think it be awesome shiny aye until you look in the revision mirror at that time and realise it's time to pullover cause you are blind for at least 10 minutes [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES][SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES][SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

Well yes HID headlight upgrade was a success after working out that they have the positive/negative the wrong way around lol

Dual battery system is 3/4 done just waiting to get a 100ah or 120ah agm deep cycle battery. Just thinking that $340 for turbo battery is a little expensive.

Red arc isolator-eBay $88
Projector battery tray-$18
Projector battery mounts-$10
5m of 10mm cabel-$45
5m of conduit-$12.50
2 fuses bolt on in line $40

So it's been a while since I have been on here. As we were going though a rough patch (no money) Morton hasn't got any attention. But after getting his first beach run under the belt and money starting to roll in the modification bug is raring it's ugly head. [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES][GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Quick install today cigarett plug and dual USB blug behind the center console.
This morning at 5am while I couldn't sleep eBay got a thrashing.
2 10w lights ordered for my reverse
2 digital volt meters
I can't remember what else I ordered ha ha

A mate came around today and got talking and I said I wanted som slider/steps glxr style he said too easy so in a couple weeks might see what we can knock up.
