The ML V6 sold out long before the rattler version........
NowForThe5th wrote:The Pajero, Pajero Sport/Challenger , and Triton are still marketed in some countries with petrol engines. For example, in Vietnam the Pajero comes with 3.0l V6 only while in China the Pajero Sport has the 3.0l MIVEC V6 only and there are no diesels in any of the range. The Triton also can still have the 3.5l V6 in some markets. This is to do with local conditions. For example in China distillate is in short supply and is kept for heavy vehicles, rationed for light vehicles, while emerging markets like Vietnam get smaller engines.
Just because the Triton may still be available in V6 form in other markets does not mean that it will ever come back here. The manufacturers have decided that we will have diesel engines in DC utes and by not offering petrols now have the proof that our preference is 100% for diesel.
