Right bit of an update, I have had the ute into a lpg specialist the last 2 days due to it surging when rolling off the power and the car switching to petrol (or trying about 3-5 times) while slowing or coming to a stop, they pulled everything apart checked every terminal. Couldn't find anything. They decided to pull the intake from the snorkel off that goes into the air box. Took it for a drive and fine - well fook me how the hell has that been the problem?
They installed a balancer hose to the underside of the air box to let the lpg system know how much air it's getting now.
The gas wasn't my original problem tho it was the rough idle with petrol, and since getting it back today after having the balancer hose installed its stopped the rough idle.
Totally strange to me as the balancer hose is for the gas and nothing to do with the petrol.
Since last post I replaces the fuel filter, idle air control valve, maf sensor, throttle body, adjusted the idle screw, replaced air filter and ran 2 doses of injector cleaner only for nothing to work.
Until the guys removed the snorkel inlet… I am going to see how it goes this weekend as we have a tripped planned. But still never thought installing the snorkel would create these problems!
