And mIwoo that's a sensational price on the 697s, how did you manage that?

Handle on Road? Much better than my bighorns. Can 'just' hear them on the road.
Handle off road? Great. Dont chip and clear well. Only took the new set out for a quick play but the Triton went wherever I pointed it.
Price per tyre? $290 each.
Wear & Tear? I have had these before on another 4x4 and wore surprisingly well. Expecting around 50K+ out of this set.

I NEVER buy tyres at standard price. Always buy on special.
If you were impressed by that I'd love to tell you the price I got on the previous 764's
(see my quote above- i actually paid $960 for 5 tyres.... you do the math )

Of course, most people use a ruler or tape. Have you had the key calibrated lately Macca?

Bridgestone D697 - LT265/70R16
AT (70/30) pattern.
$212.25 a tyre
Seems nice to drive on.
Compared to M MT764's, I am now aware how tough, heavy and well constructed the 764's were. And how good the MT road manners were
Interested to see how they go. After serious research, these tyres should be the ducks guts (for a road based AT).
Only reason I didn't go the maxis at980 was pure cost. M AT980 was $266 ea.
