Turbo Wastegate arm "ADJUSTMENT MOD" And full test results

No Mate - Chipit used to do one, but they are caput these days. Maybe the HKS FCD could be adapted. Other than that, you are getting into the realms of bypassing the solenoid, adding a needle valve, and adding a dawes valve, etc to control boost.

You really need something that will ramp up and control boost with your chip. Maybe as your chip supplier if they have anything on the shelf.

Good luck.

whats the enterprise mod I see being mentioned? also with the dawes valve and the solenoid bypass would I be able to increase the boost? see a lot of mention of it being used to counter the boost spikes but not increase the boost.

Since the rod has no adjustment like the 3.2, can washers be added just like those done in the older Pajeros with 4d56 and 4m40 engines?

If you want boost control, use the GFB VNT boost controller. It's great. It's designed specifically for vnt turbos. It allows you to adjust the boost and how hard it kicks in.

That's an interesting valve... like a Dawes valve with ability to bleed-in over vacuum in one package. Should work fine, the instructions say plumb the intake port to the turbo intake, this is not critical, just a simple inline air filter to atmosphere or yeah you can plumb a port into the factory air filter box, it's just the bleed-in over vacuum. Also says to plumb boost port to turbo outlet near intercooler pipe work... again this is not necessary as long as you keep a damper in-line with boost gauge, just tee into map sensor line as you do with your boost gauge, oh and a small inline filter to stop oil mist migrating into the valve is a must, especially if you're not running a catch can.

Also worth mentioning, a map sensor voltage clamp if you're setting boost above 22psi. Or a chip or tune that can intercept map voltage.

It tells you in the instructions. You have to make a 4th reference point yourself. I bought a boost nipple and drilled it into the intercooler hose before the throttle body.
