Took a closer look at the snorkel today as I have been told there not water tight, and yep they will leak like a sieve, mainly on the piece from the box to the gauard, didnt have time to rip the guard off but I'm hoping thats all one section.
The piece just snaps into the box, no sealant and where it goes into the guard it just has foam there are also 2 slots on the piece that just have plastic covers that snap into place and cover them, hopefully there is a solid replacement :?

Have to be submerged for a while for it to leak?

Would just smear joints in grease and reconnect. Would be good enough IMHO..

Great build thread dunga!

Mate, how are the front struts holding up with the new bar, steps and winch?

I'm getting my summit bar and steps next month and worried about sag or body roll before some decent suspension options are available.

Thanks

Thanks mate, i hope you don't mind all the questions everyone's throwing at you, I guess you're the MQ guinea pig when it comes to accessories.
I've been waiting months for all my bits, the only thing I've got my hands on is a water watch system and even then my car was their first MQ so had to get a custom bracket made.

Na piece of piss to get off mate, pop the bonnet take off the plastic shroud that fills the gap between the radiator and the grill, look down there are a couple of screws to undo and it pulls out,it has locators that seat it to the bottom, just wiggle it out,the grill itself is 2 piece I pulled that apart and just painted the chrome piece

Cheers mate I'll give her a go!!

Looking fantastic dunga.

Would be curious about what it is starting to weigh overall, and front/rear axle weights.

I am sure you're quite mindful of that in any case
