Both those sizes (and 265/75R16 marginally 5mm too tall) are above the 50mm limit unfortunately. Under finance etc I don't think I'd want to risk going oversize.
275/70R16 seems to be the biggest you can go and keep it legal at 42mm over stock. I haven't seen a huge range of AT and MT tyres in this size though.

Switch-47 wrote:i put 285 70 17 federal courigias on my 2016 gls. standard suspension and i had to trim the mud flap and inner guard a bit to stop rubbing. i wouldn't run this size unless you have a lift on it. and then again i would think twice. to get me by until i do a lift i'm going to have to put strut spacers on. and when there worn out im going back to 265 70 17. are well we live and learn.
