I had my valves done the first time at 90k and the mechanic said all were pretty well in spec - so really like opening the chest to find nothing wrong with the heart!
Every 90k is expensive, even doing you own work. Fluids front to back & filters, belts and the rubber band for the 2.5s. Having it serviced then adds the labour component, which is the killer.
As I've probably mentioned on a few occasions, 'who designs an engine that requires regular valve adjustment, with the requirement to dismantle part of the most important component - the injector pipes'?
