how much boost can stock head gasket and studs handle?

Postby lytspid on Tue May 19, 2020 1:53 pm

Hi mates,
my triton is 4d56u vgt ,i would like to ask how much does our stock head gasket and head studs handle? ive upgraded my turbo limit it to 35psi,, upgraded nozzles, injection pump, and remap,.i recently got higher temp readings even when going uphill even though ive change my thermostat to low temp,,made also the thermostat mods,..but still temperature is rising t almost overheating level, any ideas? or should i change to racing head gasket and install stock head studs or should i change to high boost head studs? thanks in advance for your help..

Do you have an egt ? Manual or automatic?
Does dialling back the fuel fix the hot temperature s? Could be too much fuel not enough air

What sort of intercooler are you running? High boost pressures at low density is counter-productive. What inlet air temps are you seeing?
The voices in my head may not be real, but they do have some damned good ideas.

If it's feral, it's in peril.

MN turbo lag? What lag??
