Triton MN 4x4 diesel faulty gearbox

Postby kobaroo on Wed Feb 10, 2021 9:46 pm

Hi, I have a 2012 Triton MN 4x4 diesel with a faulty gearbox. Reverse gear has a broken tooth. I was advised to buy a second hand gear box which I did but it is just a little bit different.
My box has 2 switches/sensors but the box I bought has only one. Can I still install the single switch box? What are the 2 sensor/switches for?
Thanks

Yeah you can mate, bridge the wires for the front switch, all it does is disable the neutral rev limiter
