Upgrading reversing camera

Hey guys,

New member here. I've searched around on this forum and on the net in general and can't find any info on this topic so I'm wondering if someone out there might have some ideas.

I've got a 2020 MR Triton and I'm keen to replace the reversing camera with a higher definition version. I find the image that the factory fitted camera gives to be pretty poor quality, especially in low light situations.

Has anyone tried to do this and/or know if it's even possible?

Any help or advise would be much appreciated!!

Hi, im not sure about replacing the camera but... With my MQ the camera was also very dark in low light, I solved this in two ways, firstly when parked, turn headlights on, then go into the camera display brightness configuration in the stereo. It has separate settings for when the headlights are on, I adjusted the brightness right up. The second thing I did was replaced the reverse lights with led ones, it made a huge improvement to the ambient light when reversing (just search for your model on ebay). Hope this helps+
