Waiting patiently for MN

Postby bmd_melb on Mon Oct 05, 2009 7:36 pm

Hi all,
just joined up - officially not an owner..YET!

Gunmetal TDi manual Mn with D/Lock on order - frickin MMA has to be the most frustrating company to deal with when it comes to delivery dates...Ordered on Sep10 and still not one idea of when it will get here...

Subaru on the other hand have got it right - missus ordered a new forestor and we get a call once a week with exactly where the car is at in production and the delivery day.
LEARN FROM THEM MMA!

Anyways, happy with the car - just got to work out what to do with the 17's in terms of fitting some KM2's Muddies to 'em...i'm thinking steelies....
Good to be aboard crew!
Benny.

Benny

Just checked the BFG site out, the 265/70R17 are the same as 32x10.5in. They'll fit on 7in wide rims. Are you going to be putting a lift on it?

There are a few options out there. Depending what other bits you're going to be bolting on....

Cheers

Welcome aboard Benny, I know all about being stuffed around with Mitsu dealers, i feel your pain. It will be worth the wait tho. Plenty of info for you to sift thru on this site in the meantime anyway, problem is, then the wishlist becomes as long as your arm and the plastic gets a workout,  Cheers Ben.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

There is a big backlog of BFG's on order aparently. My brother inlaw is has been waiting for 4 weeks for his. He ended up getting procomps Muddies as he needed to have the 33's on when it gets engineered with the 4in lift. I was going to lend him mine but the rim offset was way to different.

Not sure how the pro comps will go, don't know to much about them.

Took the BFG's down a powerlines track south of coffs the other day after the rain, had a grin ear to ear through the mud. So much better than my old BFG a/t's. They love to dig and claw their way through. Got the horses going and mud was flying everywhere.

They're worth the wait ... 8-)
