Give them space and a thread kept on topic as best as possible please.

What, you mean turning his passenger seat around the other way?

Yeh true..

What have you guys done in the way of toolboxes/storage?

I've currently got a poly box bolted to the tray it's great for general storage(I don't use it for tools) I was thinking about some under tray boxes, thoughts? Ideas?

thanks mooons, yeah i had a heap of pics but changed some things on my photobucket account and it all went up shit creek for me with the links  :( from memory the under tray boxes are 740mm long... god only knows the width and height   :? big enough to fit a 120 amp battery with room to spare + to fit two recovery bags (snatch + winch extension strap and tree trunk protector+ winch dampener+ 12volt fluro) the other has a mounted compressor with 10m of hose rolled up 6x4m short tie down ropes 4x 8m tie down ropes, 2x 1200kg rated ratchet straps, so they hold quite a lot and its all easy to get at and it all doesn’t fall out when you open the lid :D

You reckon you could take some pics of the box with the battery in it chicky? That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, did you have to do anything to the box like venting or insulation?

That would be a worthwhile mod. Especially cruising at 100kph+ to get fresh air without being deafened. 8-)
How would it open with the tray so close? :(

Ah! They motor down. I think it would be a miracle if it fitted the single cab. It would also take up valuable secure space.

Yea that would be awesome. Its probably the only reason to get a dual cab. Who needs more seats anyway theres plenty of room for people in the tray not that i care coz im always driving ;)

sorry about the late reply, if i get a chance in the next week ill wack one up, the battery im using is a sealed maintenance free. and their is no heat build up even after 4-5 hours driving so i haven't bothered to vent it plus it would let in dust/water which would be bad for my recovery gear....
