I saw an ad during the Wallabies - Ireland game about Olympic deals on the VR, I think it said 35 grand (ish) ?

Anyone else see it ?

I saw ABN in there, but not if it was a drive away price.

Yes I saw a add in the hearld sun for one.
It has no fog lights but cruise. When i brought mind in april i was buying a VR, was going to cost me $39490 drive away with ABN but they didn't have one with diff lock so sold me a GLX-R for the same price.

Suspect that dealer delivery, registration, insurance etc would not be included. Give them a call and get the total onroad cost and keep us advised. Wouldn't it be nice if the ad said "DRIVE AWAY NO MORE TO PAY".......

The ad is for the Diesel, and it sounds about right to me (for fleet or ABN buyers)

My Petrol VR was $35k drive away, so 35k + ORC for the Diesel (manual) would be about 38k or there abouts, a price difference of 3k which is bang on.

Hi guys

Brissie has had a couple of ads run lately (with ABN) - $31,990 +ORC for VR petrol and $35,104 + ORC for a VR turbo diesel. Without a trade they are offering slightly better still. The ad prices for for the current model with cruise but before the brand new version with Super Select, as far as I can tell, but there seems to be some motivation to move all of them - will let you know what I buy and how much.

Just an update on my tyre-kicking, bought a MY09 Triton DiD yesterday, manual, the version currently being delivered with Super Select, for $36,300 on road (Qld). The price I got from Private Fleet was 'slightly better than $38K' for the previous version, so I was happy with that.
After I left the dealership I freaked for a minute when I realised the paperwork didn't mention air-conditioning, till I realised it was standard and not an option. Phew

Yeah that $31,990 is the one I mentioned above - petrol without onroads. It's the older plated ones as far as I know.

I reckon when there is ink on paper with one of those deals revisit and quote the exact dollars achieved and detail what month the vehicle was plated. "Mid to late" in motor trade and finance industry is a bit like a chick throwing a garter at you and suggesting the rest will cost you 'some or all' of your pay packet. I don't think you can assume that automatically means there is an auto diesel available on road from $35K ... but maybe there is - hope so for someone's sake
