GLX-R Bluetooth disable

GLX-R Bluetooth disable

Postby daryn on Mon Mar 23, 2009 8:32 pm

Hi,

Is there a quick and easy way to disable the oem bluetooth, it is interfering with my nokia e51 and the TomTom. Its the Nokia's fault, its just being a pain and won't ignore the triton even though its connected to the TomTom.

Have you cleared all the pairings in the Triton? (press and hold the dashboard send/end buttons together until you hear it say "memory erased" or something like that 8-) )

Hope that helps!

I think the bluetooth controller is tucked in behind the ciggie lighter. Where did you get the "removed" part from? Maybe someone on here could give you a clue as to what it is.

The Bluetooth unit is not connected to anything other than the wires running to your speakers, the switch on your dash and power. It is located under the cig lighter and accessed by removing centre console.

You can also delete the connection in your phone.

Go to your bluetooth menu, then paired devices and delete 'Parrot'. That will also do it....

there is still a blue box down there i think. i'll take a photo of the part and put it on here. maybe someone will know. it might have had something to do with the cars display. btw, parrot is not in my paired menu of my phone, but the car still asks to connect to it with a pin code.
