they are 7.5 wide and +38mm offset.
Mind you the MTZ's can go on factory 7" rims due to a ????? technical oversight on there website, which state suitable for 7" wide rims????

The one thing which categorically depicts great off-road tyres - 35kg of unsprung weight on each rim in a futile effort to balance them...

Stu wrote:if it's purely just for a play set then I'd second blues option of the silverstones, a bloke near me is doing them for $245 a tyre fitted and balanced but bear in mind most tyre manufacturers recommend an 8" rim for 33"s. I was about to get some silverstones for the tri but that's not to be. A mate that I go wheeling with had the 35" extremes and one thing we noticed was they don't really start to bag out until they're down to around 12 pound but once there they are unstoppable

edit- also in saying that I'm in the process of planning a new ride and it will be a toy that only gets used for trips and weekends away, it will be running 35" extremes

I agree Stu, the Silverstones have a thick 2 ply sidewall and need to air down quite abit to bag out..... They need an 8inch rim atleast because unlike other 285's (MTZ's for example are only 11.3 inches wide at most) the Silverstones are actually a full 12 inches wide inflated on an 8 inch rim, sidewall to sidewall....be aware of this because the website states only 11.3 inches wide I beleive...its a mistake and could pose problems to anyone wanting to make them clear in the guards.

You had me interested so I checked, there doesn't appear to be any 34" tyres???

Many manufacturers make 34" tyres...you just have to look.

Interco make their 285/75x16 SSR (Radial) which is 33.9x11.4x16.
http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=9&g=1

They also make the LTB's in a 34/10.5x16 wish isn't a radial but is tougher than nails (4 ply sidewalls) and biased ply. Overall size is - 33.6x10.7

These also come out in a 17" version that is 33.8 inch diameter -
http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=7&g=1

Interco's SSM16 comes in a 295/75x16 which is 33.8x12x16 -
http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=2&g=1

Theres alot of tyres in the state but unfortunately not here that come in a 285/75x17 which is 34/11.5x17 roughly but the demand for such a tyre size isnt big so they dont bring them in here......Toyo makes em in a Open Country Mud Terrain and I beleive 2 or 3 other brands.

BFG KM2's in 255/85x16 are in fact 33.5x10.2x16....but I have heard of reports that when inflated on a 16x7 rim they can be upto 33.7/33.8...depending on vehicle weight I guess.....

Thats just a few hope that helps.

Oh, and Silverstone Extremes are available in 33/10.5x16's again...for those interested.

How did you get your 70mm lift? I'd be guessing that much height, combined with those tyres and you better get good at replacing cv's ;)

Do you mean it lifted 70mm from the saggy old suspension ride height :? I was under the impression 70mm is not really possible without a lot of work on the front end.

//Definitely need pics and more details on how you achieved that :D
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.
