So it's been a while since I updated this.
I've been pretty busy of late and haven't been able to spend much time enhancing the tri, although have taken the opportunity to do so where possible
To begin, I FINALLY got rid of the factory side steps (my second set, courtesy Cowboy Dave) for some XROX sliders. I went with these for the simple fact that they're built tough and are a no-compromise, dedicated slider. Have had them on for about 4-5months now, and they've been fantastic the whole time!
Straight from the wrapping, onto the car:

Next up was the last set of 3.15:1 Low-range gears from Wholesale Automatics. Sadly, I haven't gotten these installed yet, but that should hopefully happen after my trip to Vic/SA next year
Speaking of the trip down south, I required a little more luggage space from the tray. Mum had an old luggage pod from our old Chrysler Voyager that was sitting in the garage, and I'd been meaning to get a set of roof-racks for the hard-cover so I could mount it all up.
Well, I got impatient.
I drilled straight through the hardcover and mounted it on with four 75mmxM10x1.5 Bolts. I've spaced it up off the hardcover using a couple of precision cut (read hacksaw and guesstimate) spacer blocks, along with some foam matting underneath to protect the hard-cover and give it a little spring-tension. Will be heading down to Canberra tomorrow, so should be a good test run for it.
Anyway, that's all for now. Time for sleeeeeeeeeep
