For example, if I if run my tyre pressures at 35psi (measured when the tyres are cold) and measure the pressures again after an hour or so on the road, they should be at 39psi: that is 4psi difference between the cold and hot pressure.
If the hot tyre pressure is more than 4psi higher than the cold pressure, then start (cold) pressure was too low: if the hot tyre pressure is less than 4psi higher than the cold pressure, then the start pressure is too high…
saltydawg wrote:A quick question for guys running the 265/75/R16's how do you find the effect of these tyres on handling?
Has its decreased the initial take off speed slightly as well?
And what is the effect on low range gearing?
I was also concerned that it would soften up the ride having a bigger side wall (my assumption more compression) but from above i see this might not be the case?
Thanks

I have an MN GLR with the stock alloys and are shortly going to purchase some BFG ATs (TA KO). Will the 265/70/16 fit without rubbing or issues when you only have stock suspension?
I do plan on getting a 2" Ultimate lift shortly but have some renovations to pay for at present. It would be great to go up a size from the standard 245/70/16.
Thanks in advance

Hey mate, I've purchased these tyres just a month ago. And ive found on road no problems turning. Yet once i get off road and im in lock or close to it, With ruts and rocks etc, they DO scrubb for me. I have stock suspension. Hopefully once i get my Ultimate Susp- They will fix my problem! Food for thought
