Just spoken to the local stealer and was informed that the new MY09 triton is a depsec version of the MY08

leather gear knob
rear step bar
fog lights
and only 4 speaker stereo
and all you gain is cruise control
Can anyone else confirm this

I drove a MY09 GLX-R DiD manual on Monday. I can confirm that there is still a leather wheel and knob, rear step bar and foggies. Not sure on speaker count (couldn't give a toss about speakers to be honest). Had charcol-coloured 17" alloys and stalk-mounted cruise, which works well. Alloys will look nice on the white GLX-R I ordered today

I'll have to confirm when I see one in the flesh BUT the VR might be loosing all these things, as the website has the VR missing fogs and only 4 speakers (the only things I could see at a glance the other day in responce to the other thread on the mitsubishi website having been updated.
Too many conflicting stories- no one knows at this stage. If anyone sees a update VR in the flesh it would be good to confirm.

Already discounted the website saying the VR will only have 16" rims.

Glad I picked up my MY08 VR in March before all these changes.

My VR came with fogs, 6 speakers, leather etc......

I'm now adding the front and rear bars and hard cover to bring it basically up to GLX-R spec, excepting bluetooth but will likely get this with a stereo upgrade

09 VR does come with everything as previous with the addition of 17mags and cruise! Thats it, but its an extra $1500 thats what i was told by a stealer up here!

Seen a MY09 VR in the flash at a dealer in Brisbane the other week and can confirm they do have 17 inch rims...

had mine serviced yesterday and i saw one in there,not sure i like the colour of the new rims.....sorta brake dust coated look

Thats a good thing rick, at least if they're dirty they wouldn't be far off the clean look anyway...
