Rear windows

Rear windows

Postby Homer on Wed Sep 10, 2008 6:25 am

I'm wondering if there are any tech guys out there who know how to get the rear windows to wind right down.
My MK does it and I think it makes a big difference to rear seat comfort when shoving a couple of.. ahem.. larger guys in when at Fraser or Straddie.
As I haven't picked mine up yet, I'm wondering if the door shape might make this a no go also??

Cheers.

In most cases it is a limitation due to the wheel arches OR a child safety function. I'm guessing it is the wheel arches in the Triton's case.

Thanks guys, I figured with the door/tub shape that might be the case. Bummer, was any easy bragging point over my mates Hilux. Everyone would pile into the back of mine first and I would just shrug my shoulders at him and smile 8-)

They'll still pile in the back of yours Homer - the door access and rear seat of the ML Triton is just like a station-wagon 8-)
