ARB Air Locker.

Postby Still-Lurking on Mon May 11, 2009 12:40 pm

Seeing as Mitsubishi don't have any Tritons with diff locks  - I spoke to an ARB rep today to see when / if they would be making one for the Tritons and they tell me that it's fairly close to happening, though wouldn't get much more specific.
My feeling from the conversation was in the next couple of months.

Obviously they will cost much more than the Mitsu unit, but would still be better than nothing.

Also opens up the idea of having the ARB's front and back.. :D

I am going to go, front and rear ARB lockers I have allready got the swichers monted in the roof (check my garage for pic)
Not to sure if you know or not but the front ARB locker is allready out.... I just hope you enjoy spending money

One othe thing that people should know with lockers.. All Tritons come STD with front and rear LTD SLIP DIFF'S but by having factory or aftermarked locker you will LOSE LTD SLIP DIFF from day to day driving. I dont care on my car, as it is a my09 and it never comes out of fulltime 4WD and i recon AWD makes up for it....

PS if you see the rear ARB locker let us know yeah.
I'M NOT SMART.......BUT I CAN LIFT HEAVY THINGS.

Mate there are already air lockers avalible for the ML triton from ARB, get a hold of the latest price book and catalogue and you will see them in there, the ML triton use the same front locker as the MK unless the guy you spoke to was talking about a rear locker which may be a different story.

There's been a front for a while, though (from my limited info) no rear locker.
