Homer wrote::lol: yeah I'm being convinced that the TC doesn't work as well as the unnamed member on here thought it did - weird that he would say that as he had a locker in the MN too
TC done right does work very well so maybe it's not done right on these?
The ASC was disabled when testing right?
Sounds like we have the beginnings of a potential trip or two just to settle the argument of course...not to get together and drink p$ss or anything....
And it's gooses for gawds sake...you don't call 2 mouses, meeces do you

What about any members from good old Vic? Seems to be all NSW and Qlders on here. Where do we go for a weekend of trucks and piss drinking? Any Viccos out there? High country?
4wd26 wrote:does anyone know what "version" of TC the triton is running in comparison to the Pajero?
Reason I ask is I have wheeled with a few shorty Paj's with traction control and they work very well.
maybe its a fault with the drum rear brakes- (QLDer full of geraldine mud- would effect braking)
Also has anyone ever adjusted the brake proportioning valve when they have lifted a triton (assuming the triton has one)
technical questions on the triton forum- who'd have thunked?????

anyway still undecided front or back... front would be best to upgrade cv's at same time so even more exxy...
aftermarket rear sounds like a lot more fun on road in 2wd! (yeah hoon speak)
most used would be a rear locker in 4wd sitch? am I right?? does the front have a distinct advantage and where?
i am keen D!

If you're from SA and then you join the VICS, if you're from WA then you just complain about the lack of trips and if you're from Tassie ..... well move.

I can confirm Sam's comments re this as i asked the brake specialist who replaced all my wheel studs and new rotors and pads. The ABS equipped ML has no proportioning valve.
The MK does - for any MK owners lurking here it may pay to adjust it mine was too baised to the front and some adjustment made braking much better.

OK Dad...seeing as you are now my defacto....I wanna go to Coffs!!! I don't care how much it costs...I don't care that the footy's on....I don't care that it's Bathurst weekend.....I don't care that your mates are having a party....I just don't care....I wanna go to Coffs...
That's how it seems to work with most defacto's isn't it
