From KM2's to MTZ's question

Postby maxtriton on Tue Mar 19, 2013 3:48 pm

Just about to replace the BFG Muddies with a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's (running 265x75x16). The BFG's have been great just thought i'd give MTZ's a go to compare and wondering if people have had any issues on a (non lifted) MN with tyre rubbing etc... i know it's probably a non issue as the BFG's have never come close to hitting but thought i'd throw it out there anyway since they're a more aggressive tread pattern! Cheers.

Best case scenario= they dont fit, then you will HAVE to get a lift :D

No issue at all running 265/75's (32's) on a non lifted triton
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

i will be very interested to hear your write up mate. i have Mick Thom MTZ and rate them but they chip badly. hmmm actually when does a chip become a chunk......

but i reckon they wheel OK.
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

No dramas mate run them easy. I ran them on a none lifted triton for ages. Not one rub or anything like that

Q. Not happy with the km2s? From all reports ive had I woulda thought the km2s would be a better choice than the mtz's.... Especially if you're running the full time.
