Help with new QLD tyre size laws!!

Postby N.T. on Mon Apr 07, 2014 7:20 pm

Hi all,
I did a search on here but only got a headache due to my crap search abilities. I was wondering now that QLD has relaxed a little on the tyre size laws and allowed us to go 2'' in size bigger than standard my question is what did the '07 Ml single cab triton come out with standard. I even just did a google search and failed at that as well. I'm mainly wanting to know if it came out with the equivalent of a 31'' so I can legally go 33'' any help would be appreciated ;) Oh and is the drive line strong enough not to self destruct offroad running 33's. I had an old D21 navara I put 33's on and they had to come straight back off due to tie rod ends bending and all sorts of other nasties???
Cheers,

Have you checked the tyre placard on your vehicle??
That will show you the original tyre size.....
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

The short answer is no.

There is a dedicated thread on 33" tyres here

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?
