Greasable shackles

Greasable shackles

Hi all I wan't to replace the standard shackle's with greasable one's, do i have to remove the spring's to do this or can I just unbolt the oem shackles and then bolt the new one's on .

You should be able to get them in without removing the spring
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

You will need to jack the weight of the vehicle off the springs but it's definitely achievable without removing the whole spring-pack 8-)

Jack the car up on the chassis then place axle stands under the axle so the just take a little weight and stop it from dropping when you pull the bolts out and should keep you roughly aligned for the replacements...
