Hmm no new messages in my inbox...
Well i picked those tyres back before 305's were cool, probably the first on the forum to fit them with zero offset to a 2 inch lift... although they have been only play tyres for years, i am now running them full time to run them out... had them for 4+ years now, time for em to go i think
They are challenging to fit due to them being so wide compared to the popular 265 32" tyres, then i wanted specific rims that started at zero offset and went negative from there... AND i wanted them to not touch or scrub even on the worst angle/articulation, I was pretty determined and attacked the inner guards with an angle grinder... also probably one of the first to do so
As you see it gives quite the stance! although rather a magnet to the boys in blue... been booked for them hanging outside the flares twice, but since i run them now as everyday (and my only set) i went out and bought a set of those jungle flares that are the new rage... here is an updated photo from last month. *remember to click photo for full size*
Although still illegal in size, they now look more sedate... hoping they leave me alone in the future
Because they are so wide and have a wider offset i feel it gives superior stability when off-roading, and keeps you out of the ruts that others fall into.
As for the chip, mine is from Chip-It which no longer exist, but Tony on this forum now makes and sells them. I acquired that back when they first started selling them i wouldn't be without it now (and don't wanna know how it would drive without one ), it is a must have in my opinion if you're going to run large 33" rubber, you could do without it obviously... but it would be pretty slow. Chip really takes the edge off, and the engine runs much better with one... feels pretty good to have more power and torque than almost every other diesel 4x4 on the road you'll happen across with the right tune loaded of course
Oh and pay no mind to SRB, all my jobs and installations are of a complete professional quality... guaranteed
