I'm with you Snowie. 3-4mm, while possible, is probably a bit tight. These are steel wheels so clearance issues are on wheel side of caliper to spokes and from inside diameter of wheel to caliper. Don't forget that your caliper moves with pad thickness and to some degree on its' mounts.
I see no advantage, other than perhaps cost, in having 15" wheels on a Triton.
Sell the pram wheels to a Hilux owner and go 265's on the standard wheels. As Joe says, you can go bigger, but even 265/75 starts to affect performance and economy, even if they do correct the speedo. Bigger also means different wheels from standard as you reduce offset to stop the big tyres from rubbing. 315s also tend to attract attention from Constable Plod.
