265 pros:
-better off road Not necessarily
-better in wet Not necessarily
-more clearance (10mm-ish?)
-better load rating (for towing the missus' horses) Depends on the tyre construction. Can sometimes be less
265 cons:
-could be defected
-more power required to run them
-less fuel efficient
-slightly more expensive.
I think I am looking for excuses really, I can't quite justify the wider tread. I'll order a set of the 245/75/16 Falken's tomorrow for next wednesday.
