I have checked it about three different ways and they all read the same. they are linked by one cable so if one is out the other will be too.
I reckon the reason for everything being out is they (mitsubishi) can claim better mileage figures. I mean how many of you are actually getting the 9.1 litres per 100 k that they claim. IT'S ALL A CON i say.
I took mine back as most of you have and they told me it was in there range of 10%. I told him that was bullshit and as soon as i told him my theory he went very quite and agreed to see what he could do. UPROAR
Thats off my chest. cheers for reading.

My mechanic who i was going to order the tyres through didn't think this size tyre would fit and wanted to check it out first. So I took up a spare that my dad has (265/75/16 Cooper ST) to prove him wrong and we tried fitting it. I was sure it would fit because its the most common tyre size that everyone is running on here. However to my surprise, it rubbed on the inner guard when steering at full lock. So how has everyone fitted theirs? Does it come down to the rim and offset? My mechanic reckons that this wouldn't make a difference when steering, he reckons this only affects how far it sits out, i.e. whether it fits within the guards or not.
If it does come down to the rim, what type of rim and offset is everyone running with their 265/75/16
