Yeah I did a search before I posted but unfortunately only found the above as you suggested. Being a perfect 50mm increase I thought it might be a hot size for maximum legal lift even if it's a bit narrower. But people appear to go for a lower sidewall wider size.NowForThe5th wrote:A few mentions, but no specific thread on this size that I can see.
Thanks for your reply. They sound like a good choice. How have you found them offroad compared to the 265's?biggibbo wrote:I'm running them.
The 275's? I have a 6 speed manual.Belbrook wrote:If you have an auto those tyres will cost you about 1.5 litres per hundred ks

Toyo ATII
nice n quiet, good in the wet.
Better fuel economy than the previous 265/65/17's and the 267/70/17's i have ran previously.

They are the standard size for most Jeeps, sometimes you can pick up a set that has been traded from a new vehicle cheaper than buying new.
Jeep use Goodyear Wrangler A/T's, not a bad tyre when new but mine are deadly in the wet

7/8s wear might give you the 0.1" (2.54mm) you are looking for, between 31.5" and 31.6".
Otherwise check the new tread depth, not all LTs are 14mm deep.
