my brother is running them on an r51 pathfinder, first time off road with them at 18psi a rock went straight through between 2 tread blocks. Personal opinion I wouldn't buy coopers there are just as good if not better tyres around for alot less
If god didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them out of food

This seems typical of Coopers from what I've heard. Some people swear by them, others swear at them. I've had several people tell they will never again buy them as they have had punctures consitantly. Others have travelled through the outback and never had an issue.
Not sure if they have quality control issues or some batches are made in different plants around the world but it seems there is a problem with some users.... (of the two reliable sources that told me they would never buy again, one was running ATR and the other STT)

MR09GLXR - Not to hijack the thread, but if you're interested in BFG AT's, call Jax in Fyshwick, they're fitting them for $319 per corner.
You can sit there complaining, or you can knit me some seat belts.

Thanks all for your thoughts and idears. I am going to shit can the factory 17's go down a size to 16's in a steel wheel (better off road and load carrying) then go up a size in tyre wall to make up the rolling size..
This will leave me with a cheaper tyre thats better off road and a lot easer tyre to find.

Again thanks guys..Tristan ;)
