Interesting how they have gone back to the Easy Select on the GLX and GL-R. Only the GLX-R gets the Super Select. Gives us an idea of what we are going to get in the Challenger released later this year.

Red has changed to Solid Red looks like it has now gone to a std fire engine red (Yuk) and I like the new Ironbark colour, Dark Blue is interesting.

The 4 speed auto is frail- prob not the right word, and is not susposed to have more than 350 put through it.

Why they didn't limit the torque of the 4 speed and allow the 5 speed auto to have all 400 :?: :?: especially as the NT Pajero runs that sort of torque through it successfully.

Starts to make paying 2-2.5 grand for the auto privilege (with less power) a bit rich.

Yes, I did mean to say Nm not Kw as I did, me bad.

Thanks 4wd26 for your response. Supposedly my DP-Chip lifts the Nm way above on the 4 speed now anyway.

Does it come with the option of a non-gay lookin tub and some sort of departure angle...
Though the front end and wheels are sexy
and traction control is a good idea if you hav an off switch 4 it for those times when its not needed

Another day, another spec change.

Great to see the new safety things like MATT have finally made it into a dual cab - and good on Mitsu for being first, now the Triton really is an alternative to a wagon as a family 4x4 on road.
(IMHO)
The smaller motor might be fine, as said above, time will tell, but it is strange they updated the 3.2 on the Pajero but not the Triton.
Must have something to do with the Challenger ?

The tray is an interesting change, while it's not going to help the Triton off-road, it might make it more appealing to the tradies and mines ect - I think for a touring 4x4 it will be a good upgrade.
