It also has a 100A circuit breaker so if there is a short with the cable on the chassis part way it will protect both batteries. I have fitted the Ctek DC-DC charger as the main component & have anderson, cig lighter & merrit plugs all fused separately. I have rewired the UHF to also use the aux batt for power. While I had the console/dash out I fitted a voltmeter in the dash with a changeover switch, this allows me to monitor the charge in both batteries. A BlueSea batt changeover switch also allows me to feed power back to the main if it gets a bit low & needs a kick. A merrit plug on the solar input side of the Ctek allows the connection of my solar panels (these are quite large & normally charge the van batteries on extended stays) I will look at smaller panels in the future.
The fridge mount table is now complete with the fitting of tie-down points. I used Black Widow fridge tie-downs to secure the fridge. It is a large fridge (Waeco CF80) & takes heaps of space but this fitting allows me to open the lid fully to get to the beer . When I had it sitting on the seat it was very hard to get the supplies out as it sat so much higher.
My kids are all older now & dont usually go on trips so the back seat is not really needed, it is just 4 bolts to re-attach it when needed. The system will get its first try out in 2 weeks on the high country trip. We are planning on crossing the Simpson next Sept so we need to make sure it is a reliable system.

close up of the self tapping screws, i don't think one can mount this without dismantling the unit, unless using nuts and bolts perhaps
all in and working, this was the fiddly bit, getting the mounting screws in, but it is possible. I had to take off the air filter to get to the most inaccessible screw, the front right one.
currently i only have it powered from the croc clips going to jumper leads to the front battery, i might get it hard wired when i get a auto sparky to help hook up the rear second battery

It's a great storage area if you don't have to remove child seats first

And that pioneer box looking thing from Ghilly67? Wow, I want to know more about that.
As 4wd26 suspected the image of my ARB compressor is not the current look but in this company I would be embarrassed to share the current look to be honest. What I have done is to add a lot of dynamat under the plastic trim, dynamat under the rear carpets as well and install a slimline sub on the driver's side by cutting a chunk of the trim away and screwing to the steel in the rear wall. No jack and no wheel winding tools back there anymore.
Oh and I changed the manifold on the ARB compressor and added a stainless braided hose (for heat) and ran it out under the rear seat to the footwell so I don't have to move the seat at all to access the air connection.
